This part of the web site designed to help teachers, leaders, or students who have (1) received training or orientation from CHRISTWORKS MINISTRIES or (2) participated in one of CHRISTWORKS MINISTRIES projects. This includes training, seminars and meetings related to our Astronomical Observing from a Biblical View (AOBV) (the formal curriculum), educational subjects related to our projects, and other outreach or teaching events that we have sponsored.
We are glad to answer email questions directly from anyone viewing this web site if we get the time, but many questions that we hear at our training sessions or presentations are relatively common. This section provides the questions and answers to those kinds of questions, since they may help many others who have attended sessions or used some of our files. When we hear or receive common questions at presentations or discussions, we will try to include them in this part of the site.
When people send us these types of questions via letter or email or in person, we will not identify the source of the question to protect privacy. No question is “dumb”. Sometimes the simplest questions are the most important and answering them can be the most helpful. So if you have attended any of our sessions or training and our material did not answer all of your questions, this part of the site might help. For some questions we may provide web sites or references where the answers can be found in much better detail. We do not pretend to be experts. In keeping with the purpose and function of this ministry, however, we point to practical answers if we have them.
