The movies and media of the season are many, and most represent something far from the biblical Messiah’s birth and most dare not represent the truth for the threat of being challenged. Last night was a sampling. One Santa represented love and laid hands on the sick for them to be healed. Another media clip represented the holiday spirit by competitive light shows. Still another twisted the event into a sideline theme for a gruesome murder. They represent the patterns of this world, in contrast to the ways of the Kingdom of God.
The wonder of the biblical event has a deep basis in Old Testament verses. This is also true, of course, for the remaining facets of Christ’s life, death, and resurrection. So, it became the subject of this year’s illustrative “card” that I usually make to post on the web site.
For believers, have a wonderful holiday season, but please review with your children where it all came from and what it means. There is truthful joy in the event and God’s stated drama in what transpires. For unbelievers, consider the story that you may not have heard or reviewed. It is not a myth and it is intended to make an impact to the point of being the entry point of the Light of Life to a person’s life. What transpires is recorded in four short books: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Read them, and be amazed. Let them impact your heart and watch what happens!

What ever man touches he will ruin it. CHRIST is the very reason for this Holy season.
Roland, Merry Christmas. HE is coming one day again for HIS church.
