The manifold glory of God’s created heavens are a drawing card and invitation with any instrument or pair of eyes, but one can go much further–delving into the inviting details of particular objects. So many are so unique and singular. Edge-on galaxies are often like that for me when I observe. This particular evening I chased several with a 12.5 inch Dobsonian. An eye piece hardly reveals a sliver of faint light for most of these, but the astro-video camera helps me see a bit more. On one simple white sheet of paper with one pencil, I sketched as fast as I could to get these 3 during one hour of observing. The sketch below shows the results, except that it is inverted (whites and blacks reversed).
An edge-on galaxy is dramatic because it begs you to try to see more since the disk of the galaxy is hidden by the way the Lord placed its orientation. Nevetheless, what a pleasure to see them. So I testify of His greatness and variety to place many these galaxies just like this.

The bottom line is the same: God uses the dramatic appearance of His creation to draw us to consider who He is.
