When I observe in a southern location it is a treat for me because the southern celestial sphere is not always available to me as far south as I would like from my home state (Virginia). The sketch below shows two objects I intended to observe and sketch at the first opportunity when I was in Mississippi. The scriptures tell us that God makes note of the southern constellations. Actually, the scripture in Job 9:8-10 goes much further: explaining that the wonders of specific objects and the southern constellations are part of his signature that declares his power and ability.
