It Is About Relationship — It Always Has Been

We can point to volumes of evidence that illustrate the magnitude and effects of the Genesis Flood. We can talk about the incredible created universe in various respects that cannot have happened on its own. We can talk about a world subject to decay (due to sin) that is marked in genetics as well as other fields. It eventually takes us back to what happened at the beginning. We can coherently present a biblical world view of various parts of creation. All of this is secondary to something more fundamental: God seeks a real relationship with those who call on Him.

On the other hand, we can point to and teach biblical principles, spend time studying or talking about various theological arguments, and still miss the core point: God wants a relationship with people who call on Him, and knows (actually shows examples and defines) what constitutes a healthy relationship with Him and what does not. Further, He is clear about what relationships among us are acceptable and what ones are not.

It is for relationship with Him that the Earth was made. It is for relationship with Him that Jesus Christ died for our sins. It is for relationship with Him that He will establish the Kingdom of God in finality. The whole universe, as it says, awaits the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19). Meanwhile, He watches and remembers all things, waiting for all those who will call on Him.

This is why the biblical world view is popularly disdained, or outlawed, or forbidden in almost 100% of all educational institutions. “God tells us what to do?  He thinks He knows best?”  The biblical world view clearly says we are not in charge and do not make the rules. He does. Every aspect of our lives is meant to increasingly have a reflection of God in it, and this is totally unacceptable in most educational institutions.

Nevertheless, He is true and accurate in His assessments of us and the world around us. And, He is patient as He continues to display His lovingkindness on earth. His intention is that we find Him, enjoy researching His creation, walk with Him in relationship, and walk with one another in proper relationship. For this reason we present why all of this matters, what parts of life are affected, and how we can be a part in the fourth unit of A Study of God’s Creation filled with Purpose, Direction, and Consequence.  See the drop-down menu under COURSES and DOWNLOADABLE COURSES at cwm4him.org. All you need is a Bible to go through the material.
