Second Edition

This 60-lesson edition of the Study of God's Creation is designed as a high school-level course. It is an expanded version of the original Bible Study (first edition) with more detail, common lesson format, and progressive learning that is suitable for classrooms, home schools, and a more detailed Bible study. This is the version that comes in cell phone application form that is free and usable on Android and Apple phones. A online version (PWA file) is available for use on this site without any download. Why use this version? If you have questions about how the earth and universe started from a Biblical worldview or you are unfamiliar with that worldview, this edition provides you a methodical way to understand it and see the evidence that supports it. You do not need to be a Christian to use it, but it is our hope that you will be convinced to become one in the process of taking this course. Anyone taking this course will need a Bible to be able to work through the lessons.

For those with a desire to discover their purpose and meaning, the biblical view of creation that is presented can answer many of your questions. While most of the lessons concentrate on Genesis (the first book of the Bible), there are cross references to dozens of other verses in other books of the Bible. There is no prerequisite knowledge required to use this second edition. However, the reader will find that the biblical view of how things started, what happened, where they are going, and how they will end is radically different than the dominant evolution-based world view that is taught as fact around the world. The latter is a philosophy taught as fact but is not. The Bible, in contrast, starts in Genesis with God directly involved and provides a record of what happened. So, with this biblical view, the complexity of life and the universe not only makes sense, creation also has a purpose. Hence, the title, which says that creation has purpose, direction, and consequence.

If you are a pastor or church leader and you already believe the biblical world view, the third edition was written for you because we have found so many leaders that have insufficient knowledge of Genesis and the biblical world view to answer the questions from young people that we often hear. The third edition is shorter, assumes some Bible background, but provides key material in more summary form than the Second Edition.

That is why this second edition is in cell phone application form and many of our resources are downloadable without cost. Much of our knowledge about the evidence of creation refers to physical observations, research, or studies that were done by Bible-believing Christian scientists and specialists in other much larger ministries. We are thankful for their contributions and summarize key parts of their works.  They, like we, rely on the authority and information in the Bible as the starting point.
