From the Director — 2025 End of Year Report and Near-Term Projections

2025 began with a 9-week trip to the Philippines and Thailand where we conducted seminars on biblical creation, conducted astronomy exhibitions, and began training a small group to observe the heavens. What may not be apparent from these reports is the amount of work and coordination that takes is needed. This trip was preceded with months of writing effort (about 800 hours) and coordination with three ministries. While the benefits were obvious with our audiences, nine weeks of presenting, travel, and changes in location were a challenge. We are thankful for the results, but we will probably not attempt that long a trip again. There are still requirements for future trips, but we will attempt shorter duration efforts and perhaps divide the mission trips that are overseas.
The remainder of 2025 ministry activity involved reporting to the board of directors, meetings with Outreach to Asia Nationals (OTAN), web site work with our website manager, a coordination visit about future activity with All Nations International, and more writing or editing resources. Coordination for the early January mission trip to Hallel Integrated Ministries was just completed (December 2025). We will have a 4-week mission trip to Iloilo that will involve activities very similar to those from the trip in early 2025. We expect to teach pastors and church leaders on biblical creation subjects, continue training a small group of people on astronomical observing from a biblical view, and share at several church/ministry activities on Panay Island.
By the middle of 2026, however, writing work will be underway to edit Astronomical Observing from a Biblical View, publish the third edition (for pastors and church leaders) of A Study of God’s Creation, Filled with Purpose, Direction, and Consequence, and begin several other pamphlet/workbooks on important topics. Some of these will be needed in parts of Asia and Africa where we have contacts. It is likely the amount of writing work will take two years to complete.
There is a distinct possibility we will have another mission trip with OTAN in the middle of 2026. A few US trips will also be necessary as some of the draft writing on other pamphlets/workbooks proceeds.
In short, we will be busy. We have also outfitted our North Carolina home for training small groups. We hope there will be opportunity to reach young people, teach about the Kingdom of God, biblical creation, and how to observe the heavens.
