Summer and Post-Mission Trip Activity (2025).
We have not posted much in early 2025, outside of two reports from a recent two-month mission trip to the Philippines and Thailand. However, we are now home in central North Carolina and have better internet capability through a more capable provider. So, we plan to initiate a series of posts on biblical creation topics and post a few special interest items as well. In the meantime, if you have not read the recent mission trip reports, we recommend them. At this juncture, they are on the front page of the cwm4him.org site.
Some new work on this site (cwm4him.org) will commence as we cull some older posts and rewrite or organize some sections where our resources are discussed or downloadable. If you have any suggestions for us to consider, please let us know using the info@cwm4him.org email address.
The second edition of our biblical creation application (A Study of God’s Creation Filled with Purpose, Direction, and Consequence) for cell phones continues to be downloadable free from the Apple Store for Apple phones or Play Store for Android phones. In short, to get the cell phone application, type <Creation Study Helps> to get the resource in both English and Spanish. Look for the white hand emblem with a circular blue background. The same resource is also usable online from this site. Hard copies are available at a modest cost from Amazon and other retailers.
The new, shorter Third Edition of the resource (especially for pastors and church leaders) that we taught overseas in the Philippines and Thailand earlier this year will soon be mounted on this site in ‘pdf’ form. It will be free to download. Eventually, multi-language versions will be available if work goes as scheduled. We are not sure whether we will publish a hard copy in the US.
Summer activity from our NC home will also include opportunities to observe the heavens with telescopes from our two observing locations at our GateWay property in central NC. We typically run two- to three-hour sessions for friends and visitors as we present the heavens from a biblical creation viewpoint. If we obtain enough interest from a small group to learn the tools and methods, we try to schedule training as well. Email us if you are interested in attending or getting training this summer or autumn. The course we use (Astronomical Observing from a Biblical View or AOBV) is downloadable from this site under <courses>. It will be updated later this year as one of our writing projects.
Our activities and resources are from a biblical creation and biblical world view. This Christian approach is applicable overseas as well as the US. After all, it is His creation that we observe. The Bible (His record) addresses our history and human issues. His purposes remain the same: He wants a people for Himself to both love and redeem. If you have questions, visit us or submit your questions.
